Configuring the Default ASP.NET Version

Configuring the Default ASP.NET Version

Suppose you want to set up a virtual directory on a machine that has both .NET 1.1 and .NET 2.0 installed. In this case, the machine will use the ASP.NET 1.1 for its default settings. But browsing the pages using this default configuration results in a yellow error page. The workaround for this bug is to change the configuration to use ASP.NET 2.0. Do this by going to Internet Information Services Manager?Virtual Directory Properties?ASP.NET Tab?ASP.NET Version. In the dropdown box, change the version to 2.0.50727.
