Create Custom Hotkeys in Visual InterDev 6

Visual InterDev 6 installs with its own keyboard mapping scheme, which you can customize to suit your preferences. For instance, you may want to use the F12 key from within VID 6 to view the current page. Adding the keystroke is simple. From the Tools menu, click Options and expand the Environment node. Click Keyboard and put your cursor in the “Press new shortcut key:” box. Then press the F12 key on your keyboard. In the Categories box, select View. Next, in the Commands box, select View in Browser, click Assign and then OK. Finally, test your F12 button to ensure it works properly.
