I have written a service that accepts some parameters. How do I set up the service to send those parameters to the service when it starts?
Answer:
Since services are designed to start before a user logs onto the system, the only way I know to set the service parameters is in the Services applet (from the Control Panel). At the bottom of the screen is a text box titled “Startup Parameters.”
