However, you can change the template that VID uses so that you’ll never have to touch the extension again. First, close Visual InterDev, then go into C:Program FilesMicrosoft Visual StudioVintDev98TemplatesWeb Project Items and rename the file New HTML Page.htm to New HTML Page.html. Likewise, go into C:Program FilesMicrosoft Visual StudioVintDev98Templates NewFileItems and rename the file New HTML Page.htm to New HTML Page.html. From now on your HTML pages will start life with the longer extension.
