Startup Koding has announced that its cloud development platform has moved out of private beta status and is now available for use by all developers (although they do still need to request an invite before signing up). The service offers cloud-based tools that allow programmers to write and test applications from a browser. It supports Ruby, Python, PHP, Perl and Node.js and other languages.
The site is also working to build a developer community that is friendly to newbies. So far, it has 40,000 users.
