How To Find Your Phone Number on iPhone
Method 1: Settings
- Open Settings
- Tap Phone
- Your phone number is listed at the top under "My Number"
Method 2: Contacts
- Open the Contacts app (or Phone → Contacts)
- Scroll to the very top
- Your name and number appear under "My Card"
Method 3: Ask Siri
Say "Hey Siri, what’s my phone number?" — Siri will display it on screen.
How To Find Your Phone Number on Android
Method 1: Settings
- Open Settings
- Tap "About phone" (may be at the bottom of Settings)
- Tap "Phone number" or look for it listed directly
- Your number is displayed
Samsung Galaxy:
Settings → About phone → Status information → SIM card status → your number is listed under "My phone number"
Google Pixel:
Settings → About phone → your number shows near the top
Method 2: Dial It
Open the Phone app and dial: *#1234#* or #62# — on many carriers this displays your number. Or simply dial 611** (carrier customer service) — the automated system usually reads your number back to you.
Method 3: Google Account
- Open Settings → Google → Manage your Google Account
- Tap "Personal info"
- Your phone number is listed under "Contact info"

Text Yourself:
If you have access to another phone, text your phone and the number appears in the message.
Check Your SIM Card Packaging:
When you got your SIM card, the phone number was printed on the packaging or activation card.
Call Your Carrier:
Dial your carrier’s customer service number:

- T-Mobile: 611 or 800-937-8997

Check Your Bill:
Your phone number appears on your monthly carrier bill — check the app or paper statement.
Call Another Phone:

iPads with cellular have a phone number even though you don’t use it for calls:

Why Does My Phone Show the Wrong Number?
If the number shown doesn’t match your actual number:
- Dual SIM phones may show a different line than expected — check which SIM is active
- Ported numbers may take 24–48 hours to update in phone settings
- CDMA carriers sometimes don’t store the number on the SIM — the Settings display may be blank or incorrect
