Apple: We’ve Paid Developers $10 Billion

During his keynote address to open this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned a number of key statistics about the company’s development platforms. It has paid out $10 billion to developers, including $5 billion this year alone. By comparison, that’s about three times as much as Android and all the other mobile platforms combined.
