The A18 Pro chip powers larger display sizes, Camera Control, pro camera features, advanced graphics, and improvements in battery life.

The 48MP Fusion camera enables 4K120 fps video recording in Dolby Vision. This is the highest resolution and frame-rate combination ever on an iPhone. The 48MP Ultra Wide camera supports higher-resolution macro photography.

Both Pro models feature a 5x Telephoto camera and studio-quality microphones. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max have a durable yet lightweight titanium design. They are available in four finishes: black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium, and desert titanium.

The models have the thinnest borders seen on any Apple product. They also have larger display sizes and a significant enhancement in battery life.
New iPhone 16 Pro models
The iPhone 16 Pro Max offers the best battery life on an iPhone to date. Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max begin on Friday, September 13. Availability starts on Friday, September 20.
Pricing starts at a competitive rate. Various storage capacities are available, including 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options. Customers who purchase the new models will receive three free months of Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and Apple Fitness+ with a new subscription.
Apple also offers significant trade-in credits and promotions to facilitate upgrading. “Powered by the faster, more efficient A18 Pro chip and built for Apple Intelligence, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are the most advanced iPhone models we’ve ever made,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “Customers who are looking for the best possible iPhone will appreciate this significant advancement, whether it’s for photo edits, professional note-taking, or capturing high-quality videos in Dolby Vision — all while enjoying extraordinary battery life.”
Apple Intelligence will be integrated as a free software update.
An initial set of features will roll out next month in U.S. English. The systemwide Writing Tools aim to refine notes and emails. Users can check grammar, word choice, and sentence structure, and summarize text.
The Notes and Phone apps will allow users to record, transcribe, and summarize audio. They will have comprehensive features to manage notifications and priority messages efficiently.
