Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is Live

Fortnite Season
Fortnite Season

Fortnite has just launched its much-anticipated Chapter 6, Season 1. The season is live now after the huge Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD season finale concert. The concert drew over 14 million players, the most ever for any concert event.

Now, the season has launched. Players are being encouraged to pick up the new battle pass. The pass is largely full of Japanese-inspired skins that match the theme of the new chapter.

Here are the skins available in the new battle pass:

Nyanja (Page 1) is a ninja cat in a hoodie that also has a “black cat” ninja style as well. The mining tool claws are pretty neat. Jade (Page 3) leans more toward the samurai side with her armor plating paired with a letterman jacket and a plaid skirt.

Her alternate skin does have a cool helmet, though. Kendo (Page 5) is a motorcycle samurai that looks cool with a really sick alternate skin on page 6. This is possibly my favorite design of the pass.

Shadow Blade Hope (Page 7) has a full-on ninja look with an option for a cat-ear hood. Her alternate skins feature a full cat mask and some unique colors.

Daigo (Page 9) has a spooky look with a mask on both outfits. He is a bit plain but unsettling all the same. In a surprising Big Hero 6 crossover, Hero Baymax (Page 11) is available, complete with a samurai version on Page 12.

The Night Rose (Page 13) is undeniably cool and scary, which explains why she’s the last skin to unlock. Her alternate skin transforms her into a version with blue skin and white hair, both of which look awesome. Yes, your bonus skin this time is a smaller version of Godzilla, which will be hilarious to use with weapons.

Fortnite truly makes dreams come true. Overall, it’s another impressive season launch, with a creative array of characters to unlock and enjoy. Whether or not the battle pass is worth buying will depend on your personal preference for these unique, Japanese-inspired designs.

Happy gaming!
