NetherRealm Studios has revealed Ghostface’s full Animality for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns. In this special finisher, Ghostface transforms into a vulture and attacks his opponent, Johnny Cage. The vulture gruesomely eats through Cage’s chest and tears out his spine.
Ghostface is the fifth character in the game to have an avian transformation. Other characters with similar motifs include Peacemaker as a gun-wielding eagle, Liu Kang as a Phoenix, Kitana as a hummingbird, and Homelander as a patriotic griffin. The input for Ghostface’s Animality is back, forward, down, 4.
Fans can look forward to playing as Ghostface when he releases as part of the Khaos Reigns expansion on November 19. Those wanting to purchase him individually will need to wait until November 26. Today, fans who purchased Early Access to the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns expansion can finally play as Ghostface. The internet has quickly mined details surrounding the character, including his alternate costumes and gear.
Images of all current costumes and masks available for Ghostface have been gathered. The first image showcases six different costumes for the Woodsboro killer, the second image displays nine alternate masks that players can obtain, and the third image features a larger version of the standard mask.
