Sandy Garossino, the mother of singer Grimes, has publicly criticized billionaire Elon Musk for allegedly withholding his children from their mother and great-grandmother. Garossino posted on social media, stating that her 93-year-old mother “yearns to see and hold” Musk’s children—her great-grandchildren—”one last time.” She accused Musk of “withholding” the children and their necessary passport documentation from Grimes. Garossino said, “I am alarmed to learn that the children cannot come as you are withholding them and their needed passport documents from Claire.” She expressed concern about the whereabouts of the children, saying, “Where are the other children, and with whom?

They are scheduled to be with their mother.”

Grimes and Musk, who dated off and on for several years, are currently locked in a legal fight over custody in courts. Grimes sued Musk for parental rights over one of their three children in October, claiming that Musk refused to let her see their youngest son, Techno Mechanicus.

Musk’s 20-year-old transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, supported Garossino’s post. Wilson stated in a rare TV interview that Musk “has been illegally and continuously keeping” Grimes’ children from her “during the most important developmental period in a child’s life.”

These comments mark the latest personal criticism of Musk as a father from people within his family. Wilson recently criticized her father after he claimed in an interview that he was “tricked” into allowing Wilson to receive gender-affirming treatment when she was 16.

Wilson responded, calling her father “cold,” “quick to anger,” “uncaring, and narcissistic.”

Musk, who is the richest person in the world with 12 children, has not publicly commented on the allegations. Representatives for Grimes did not immediately respond to requests for comment, and Garossino declined to comment beyond the social media posts.
