Huawei has unveiled the Christmas Edition of its Watch GT 5 in Germany. The special edition watches come with two new fluoroelastomer straps – green for the 46mm model and red for the 41mm version. Customers can also choose from more traditional straps: black (fluoroelastomer) or brown (leather) for the 46mm watch, and white (leather) or gold (metal) for the 41mm watch.
This also influences the watch body color. The Huawei Watch GT 5 Christmas Edition features matching wallpapers that include a stylized Christmas tree. The 46mm model is priced at €260, while the 41mm model costs €270.
For €290 and €300 respectively, customers can get non-festive colored straps, a free pair of Huawei Freebuds, and extended Huawei Care (3 years), which are valued at €100 and €50 respectively. Huawei has also launched the Watch Fit 3 Christmas Edition in Germany, featuring new dual-tone straps. This special edition comes in Light + Dark Green and Light + Dark Brown leather straps.
Priced at €159, the original price of €169 is reduced by €10 for purchases made before Christmas. Buyers will receive an extra fluoroelastomer strap and Huawei FreeBuds SE 3 Black free with new models. This limited edition is currently available only in Germany.
Huawei’s festive smartwatch collection
Aside from the new strap design, the Watch Fit 3 shares similarities with its standard version. It boasts a 1.82-inch AMOLED screen with 1500 nits peak brightness, a resolution of 480 x 408 pixels, and a 347 PPI density.
The device includes a 9-axis inertial sensor that accurately measures heart rate, sleep monitoring, and calorie tracking. With various new watch faces, sports modes, and workout tutorials, the Watch Fit 3 encourages users to stay active. In addition to the Watch GT 5 and Watch Fit 3 Christmas Editions, Huawei has launched Festive versions of the Watch GT 5 and Watch GT 5 Pro in Europe.
The Watch GT 5 41mm is available in red, while the Watch GT 5 46mm and Watch GT 5 Pro are available in green. Customers can choose from various strap combinations for each model. The Festive Edition models maintain the same features as the original smartwatches, including an AMOLED display, workout tracking, Bluetooth calling, and health metric monitoring.
A special Christmas Watch Face, named Xmas Starlit Holiday, will be available through the Huawei Health app starting December 21. The Huawei Watch GT 5 Christmas Edition smartwatches are now available for purchase in various European countries. Prices start from £239.99/€259.99.
