iQOO is set to launch its latest smartwatch, the iQOO Watch 5, in China later this May. The watch promises various upgrades over its predecessors. The iQOO Watch 5 will be the first to operate on BlueOS 2.5. It will also incorporate Blue Heart Xiao V with DeepSeek, a raise-to-wake AI assistant.

This assistant can control the watch, answer questions, act as a phone assistant, record calls, and provide summary notes. It offers intelligent reminders linked to travel plans, medication schedules, or work. The watch is expected to offer impressive battery life, running up to 22 days in Bluetooth mode and up to 14 days when using an eSIM.

iQOO Watch 5 debuts new BlueOS

The iQOO Watch 5 was showcased at the King Pro League 2025 Spring Finals, an event for the online game Honor of Kings. During the event, the watch’s e-sports mode was demonstrated, monitoring health metrics like heart rate and calorie burn, and offering data sharing and game countdown features.

Pictures of the iQOO Watch 5 reveal a round face, rotating crown, and side button, with options for fluoroelastomer and woven fabric straps. However, further details about the watch remain undisclosed. The iQOO Watch 5 is expected to launch in China on May 20th.

It remains uncertain whether the model will be released in other markets such as North America or Europe.
