Lg introduces advanced Gram laptops
LG’s new laptops incorporate Gram Chat On-Device, using a small language model from LG AI Research’s EXAONE large language model. The “Time Travel” feature allows users to quickly revisit recently accessed web pages, documents, videos, and audio files. LG is integrating tools similar to Microsoft’s Copilot Plus suite.
Gram Chat Cloud, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4, responds to inquiries using web-based datasets and integrates with calendar and email services. It requires an internet connection and will be free for the first year. All new Gram laptops support LG’s Gram Link 2.0, streamlining document and file sharing between other PCs and iOS or Android smartphones.
Users can also answer phone calls directly from the laptops. LG aims to bring these advanced laptops to the US market next year, offering a blend of portability, performance, and innovative AI features.
