The iQOO Watch 5 is set to launch in China on May 20th. It will be the first smartwatch to run on BlueOS 2.5, Vivo’s custom operating system. The watch will feature an AI assistant called Blue Heart Xiao V x DeepSeek.
This assistant can be activated by raising the wrist and supports voice commands. The AI assistant can handle tasks like recording and summarizing phone calls. It can also provide reminders for medications, travel plans, and work schedules.
The iQOO Watch 5 has a classic round design with a rotating crown and side button. It will be available with different strap options to suit various styles. The watch was showcased at the King Pro League 2025 Spring Finals, an esports tournament.
During the event, the company highlighted the watch’s esports mode. This mode tracks heart rate, calories burned, and other data in real-time during gaming sessions.

It even supports game countdowns and data sharing. Battery life is claimed to be up to 22 days in Bluetooth mode and around 14 days when using an eSIM. These are impressive numbers considering the watch’s advanced features.
The iQOO Watch 5 will launch alongside the iQOO 10 Pro+ smartphone in China. There is no information yet about a global or Indian release. However, the watch’s unique blend of AI capabilities and esports focus could make it appealing in international markets.
In related news, the iQoo Pad5e tablet is rumored to launch alongside the Pad5 and Pad5 Pro models. The Pad5e is expected to be a more affordable option, possibly using a MediaTek chipset. The Pad5 Pro and standard Pad5 may have similar specs and design, with the non-Pro using older hardware.
The new iQoo tablets are anticipated to arrive by 2025. They may support accessories like styluses and keyboards. The inclusion of a 12-inch model is expected to be a major addition to the tablet market.
