Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 6 and Wear OS 5 update to Galaxy Watch 6 devices in the United States. The update brings a host of new features and improvements to the wearable experience. Both the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are receiving the update, which was initially launched on the Galaxy Watch 7 series several months ago.
The update is currently available for the WiFi and LTE versions of the watches. One UI 6 introduces several new premium watch faces, including Spatial Number, Simple Digital, and Ultra Info Board.

The update also brings visual enhancements, such as redesigned watch components for greater consistency with One UI on Galaxy phones and a new stylish and modern default font.

The update enhances health and fitness features, including an AI-powered Energy Score that monitors physical and mental condition based on sleep and activity. It also provides detailed sleep analysis with insights on heart rate, respiratory rate, and time taken to fall asleep.
One UI 6 introduces advanced features
Users can now create custom workout routines with specific targets for sets, reps, and time, including optional breaks. One UI 6 improves control and usability with features like double pinch quick actions, fast navigation, and an ongoing activities view. It also introduces AI-generated replies for messages and the ability to set favorite emojis for quick responses.
The update brings automation and battery management improvements, such as modes automation and power saving enhancements. Additional improvements include calendar management, auto power on, and automatic Bluetooth connection. To check for the update, users can head into their Galaxy Wearable app.
The rollout is currently limited to the United States, but it is expected to expand to other regions soon.
