The official rollout of One UI 8 will introduce AI features designed to enhance user convenience and intelligence in everyday interactions. One UI 8 aims to make daily tasks smarter and more convenient by improving AI capabilities first introduced in the Galaxy S25 series. Key features include multimodal capabilities, UX tailored to different device form factors, and personalized, proactive suggestions.
These enhancements enable natural communication with AI, optimized productivity, and context-aware suggestions to support user routines. Security is a top priority in One UI 8, with Samsung Knox Vault offering robust protection for user data. Users can choose to process data locally on their devices, maintaining a balance between personalization and privacy.

Beyond AI improvements, One UI 8 includes tools designed to streamline daily mobile device use. Auracast, a broadcast audio technology based on Bluetooth LE Audio, will simplify audio sharing across multiple devices like Galaxy Buds3 and hearing aids. Customer support will also be easier and faster, with QR- and NFC-enabled support accessible via Samsung Account.

New travel-friendly features will let users manage reminders and share to-do lists effortlessly through voice-enabled commands. Quick Share enhancements will make sharing memories with family and friends faster and more seamless.
Samsung encourages users to sign up for the One UI 8 beta through the Samsung Members app to experience these advancements firsthand. Availability of features and services may vary by country and device model. One of the significant upgrades in One UI 8 includes two new features inspired by Android 16.
First, users can now drag the window border to make one app occupy a larger portion of the screen. This goes hand in hand with another addition: the ability to switch between which app takes up the larger screen area by simply tapping on it. This enhancement is particularly useful when one app window is stretched to the maximum, around 90% of the screen.
However, this feature doesn’t work if the screen is split at different ratios. These improvements allow users to operate an app almost in full-screen mode without exiting the Multi Window setup. Despite not having much to reveal in previous leaked builds, these Multi Window features included in the first official beta build of One UI 8 were a pleasant surprise.
Currently, the One UI 8 beta program is open in Korea for the Galaxy S25 series and is expected to roll out soon in Germany, the UK, and the USA. The future of Galaxy AI starts now with One UI 8. Samsung’s comprehensive upgrade promises enhanced user experience through advanced AI capabilities, improved security, and convenient everyday tools.
As the beta program begins, Samsung invites users to explore the new features and provide feedback to help shape the future of its software platform.
