The Sims 4 is celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Sims series with a huge free update. The update will add over 70 new items to the game on February 4th. Players can expect new clothing options like turtlenecks, bodysuits, and bike shorts.

There will also be new hairstyles and accessories. For building, the update includes stylish windows and doors, wood finishes for kitchen cabinets, and playground equipment like a pirate ship. A limited-time “Blast from the Past” event will also start on February 4th.

It will last for four weeks and challenge players to unlock iconic items from the 2000s. These include a milk carton, telephone, alarm clock, birthday cake, and inflatable chairs. EA is hosting a 25-hour livestream starting at 10pm GMT on the same day.

The livestream will feature Simmers and special guests looking back at The Sims’ impact over the years.
