Today’s unveiling of the Adobe Creative Suite 5 (CS5) includes several tools aimed at making it easier for designers and developers to work together. The first, Flash Catalyst, is a completely new app that lets users create flash apps without writing code.
CS5 also includes Flash Builder 4, which was formerly known as Flex Builder. The Eclipse-based tool offers developers coding and debugging functions while giving designers greater control over the look of interactive Web apps.
The third tool, Flash Professional CS5, upgrades the most popular app for flash developers and designers. Key new features include a new text layout framework, a code snippets panel, and the packager for iPhone (although Apple has said that it will ban any apps created with the tool from its App Store).
