Application development tool vendor Parasoft has announced the release of a new testing platform called Virtualize. Enterprise development teams often face difficulties when testing new applications that rely on data from a lot of external sources. Virtualize simplifies the process by automatically capturing and emulating dependent system behavior, creating a realistic virtual test environment.
“Parasoft Virtualize significantly lowers the cost to stage an extraordinarily realistic development and test environment,” said Parasoft vice president of strategy Wayne Ariola. “Not only does Parasoft Virtualize eliminate the traditional constraints of developing and testing complex applications, but also it assists organizations to execute rich end-to-end test scenarios, which includes cloud, mobile applications and service-oriented architectures.”
