Next week’s Usenix LISA (Large Installation System Administration) conference will highlight devops as one of the most important trends in enterprise IT. “LISA is always on the cutting edge of system administration, and DevOps is really capturing the spirit of all the new best technologies in system administration,” said conference co-chairman Tom Limoncelli.
Devops has become more popular as companies like Google, Amazon and Twitter embraced it, said Limoncelli. He added, “By being collaborative, you get a higher velocity of change, better uptime and better scalability.”
