Court Reduces Potential Damages in Android Java Lawsuit

Oracle has received a blow in its patent lawsuit against Google. Alleging that Android violated some Java patents, Oracle had been seeking billions in damages. Experts now say that Oracle will be lucky to recoup its legal costs when a final verdict is rendered in the long-running case.
