Flurry has announced some enhancements to its free mobile app analytics tool, which is used by a third of all iOS apps and a quarter of all Android apps. First, the company has added a custom dashboard, which makes it easier for mobile development firms to track the metrics that they deem to be the most important. Second, developers can also set up alerts, which will ping them when metrics rise or fall to particular levels. Third, it has added some sophisticated funnel analysis tools for tracking users’ in-app and cross-app activities.
Developers have included Flurry tools in 170,000 apps. The company tracks 300 billion data transactions per month and monitors 1.2 billion user sessions per day.
