Among developers who use Flurry analytics, project starts for Windows Phone are up 521 percent over the last 12 months. Windows Phone apps currently account for 6 percent of all Flurry projects. By comparison, Android app starts grew by 82 percent over the same period, and iOS app starts grew by 66 percent.

Recently, comScore also reported good news for Windows Phone: the OS reversed its trend of declining market share and climbed from 3.9 percent of the market to 4 percent.
