App Developers Earn $90K, Work 40 Hours

A new infographic from Wix indicates that the app economy has made life better for developers. Although developers have traditionally worked long hours, Wix says app makers work an average of 40 hours per week, with a 9 am to 6 pm work day. And those app developers earn an average of $90,000 per year.

In addition, the new app economy has created 466,000 new development jobs between 2007 and 2012.

The infographic also spotlights developers’ earning potential if they create apps for the Wix App Market.
