Learn-to-code startup Codecademy is adding some new courses to its curriculum that will help both novice and experienced developers learn to use APIs from various Internet services in their applications. The company has partnered with Twilio, YouTube, NPR, Parse, SoundCloud, Sunlight Foundation, Bitly, SendGrid, Stripe and Placekitten. It now offers lessons that help students learn to use the APIs provided by these organizations.
Speaking about the new lessons, Codecademy co-founder Zach Sims said, “We think they’re super easy for people getting started to play with but can also help advanced developers to get up and running with APIs.”
