DevOps tool vendor DBMaestro has released DBmaestro Teamwork V 3.7 with Oracle SQL Developer Extension. The update allows developers and DBAs to view and manage a database’s change history in the same integrated development environment (IDE) they use to build it. It also has features that help to enforce enterprise change management policies.
“The new version of DBmaestro Teamwork integrates DevOps into the database lifecycle,” said DBmaestro’s Yaniv Yehuda. “In today’s continuous deployment environment, developers must take control of their database in order to prevent disaster. DBmaestro Teamwork allows DevOps for database to follow the proven best practices of change management. DBmaestro empowers collaboration between the development and operation teams, saves time and money, and mitigates the risks of the deployment process.”
