HP is expanding its support for SAP’s HANA in-memory database software with two new offerings. First, it unveiled the ConvergedSystem 900 for SAP HANA, preconfigured hardware meant to run applications based on HANA technology. The system supports up to 12 terabytes of data in one memory pool.
In addition, those who don’t want to purchase their own hardware can purchase HANA cloud computing services through HP’s Helion cloud. HP says this option can speed the deployment of HANA-based applications.
