IBM has announced that it has added a new Alert Notification Service to its Bluemix PaaS. The service aims to help DevOps teams respond quickly to problems with applications running on IBM Cloud. The alerts can be sent via email, SMS or voice, and they are highly customizable.
“Because IBM Alert Notification is provided as a service, the required server infrastructure is installed and managed by IBM, reducing your time-to-value and offering low-maintenance ownership,” blogged IBM’s Dev Ambasna.
The Bluemix cloud development platform now includes more than 120 different tools and services.
