CloudBees has announced the release of six plugins that add Docker support to Jenkins, the widely used open source continuous integration platform. “We’re seeing a huge trend toward Docker and we think that a lot of developers like it as a stand-alone mechanism, but what really puts Docker in motion for DevOps is something like Jenkins,” said CloudBees CEO Sacha Labourey. “Together with Jenkins, Docker becomes part of a full DevOps workflow for how an application gets put into production.”
The plug-ins include a Docker standardized build environment, Docker Custom Build Environment, Docker Workflow, Build and Publish, Docker Hub Notification, and Docker Tracebility.
