Microsoft Adds Cordova Tools to Visual Studio Code

Microsoft has released a new Visual Studio Code extension that supports Apache Cordova, a popular cross-platform open source mobile development framework. The extension is called Tools for Apache Cordova, or TACO. ?With this extension, you can debug hybrid apps, find Cordova-specific commands in the Command Palette, and use IntelliSense to browse objects, functions, and parameters,? blogged Ryan J. Salva, principal program manager for Microsoft?s Visual Studio client tools.

TACO will also work with the Ionic, Onsen, PhoneGap and SAP Fiori mobile development frameworks, which are based on Cordova.
