Although the two companies haven’t always been friendly, Microsoft and Salesforce have announced plans to work together. As part of the deal, Salesforce will offer apps for Windows and Windows Phone, and Salesforce’s CRM software will get integration with Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online and Outlook. In addition, Salesforce will expand its use of Microsoft database software and Azure cloud computing software.
The companies did not disclose the terms of the agreement, but did say that it is a long-term partnership.
