Migrating an enterprise application to the cloud can be tremendously challenging, but Cloud Technology Partners says its new PaaSLane service can reduce the costs involved by 25 percent. PaaSlane evaluates the code of existing applications to determine whether or not they would be suitable for deployment on cloud computing platforms like Cloud Foundry, Stackato, Apprenda, Oracle IaaS and others.
“A lot of times, people neglect to look at the software, the code underlying it, before embarking on a migration,” explained Cloud Technology Partners VP John Treadway. “What PaaSLane does is find the things in your application that could present a problem.”
PaaSLane is currently accepting applications for those who want to participate in private beta trials of the service.
