Progress Buys Telerik, Updates Modulus

Development tool vendor Progress has announced the acquisition of Telerik, which offers user interface (UI) design tools, application lifecycle management and Web content management tools, as well as a cloud computing platform. According to Telerik, more than 1.4 million developers use its products.

In addition, Progress has updated Modulus, its Node.js development, hosting and monitoring platform. The cloud computing service comes in several different sizes and versions, and the enterprise version supports hybrid and private clouds.
