According to Good Technology’s Mobility Index Report for the second quarter of 2014, enterprise activations of Android devices are up, but iOS still leads by a wide margin. During the period, 67 percent of activated enterprise devices ran iOS, compared to 32 percent for Android. Windows Phone remained steady with just 1 percent of activations.
The report also noted that document editing is the most popular type of enterprise app. Quickly growing enterprise app categories included business intelligence, which grew 200 percent over last quarter, and CRM, which grew 700 percent.
