The Tsuru project has released the 1.0 version of its open source platform as a service (PaaS). The tool aims to make application deployment as easy as submitting a Git push command. It supports Docker containers and can be used in public or private cloud computing environments.
Unlike most PaaSes, Tsuru doesn’t require developers to use a lot of customized tooling. Other than the command-line platform, which is necessary for pushing creating application instances, developers are free to use the tools of their choice.
Code for Tsuru is available on GitHub.
