Visual Studio Gets Node.js Support

Microsoft has released an alpha version of Node.js Tools for Visual Studio. The tool will allow developers to edit and debug Node.js and to deploy Node.js applications to the Azure cloud computing service very easily.

Node.js enables developers to write server-side code in JavaScript, and it has recently been growing in popularity.

Node.js Tools for Visual Studio is available under an Apache open source license, and interested developers can download the tool from Microsoft’s CodePlex site.
