Marissa Mayer has purchased her first company as chief executive of Yahoo. Her company acquired Stamped, a mobile development startup that has created a review app with some social features. Stamped’s ten employees, including a couple of ex-Googlers who founded the company, will go to work for Yahoo. Stamped’s investors had included Ryan Seacrest, Justin Bieber, Ellen DeGeneres and The New York Times.
The purchase price was not disclosed, but an unnamed source told Business Insider it was “a nice size” but not extravagant.
