Over a long period of time, we add lot of stuff knowingly or unknowingly to applications such as Microsoft Word. This results in slowing load times.
To optimize this behaviour, please go to File- options and then choose the “Add-Ins” tab. Under that, pick a category (com add-ins, actions, etc.) in the manage drop-down and click Go. This will load the options for you. Disable things that you no longer need and restart word.
This will speed up the load time considerably.
