By default, line numbers are not turned on in SQL Developer.
To turn them on, go to Tools ? Preferences:
- Click on the + next to Code Editor.
- Click on Line Gutter.
- Put a check mark in the Show Line Numbers option, and click OK.
Now, you’ll be able to see line numbers in your SQL Developer query windows.
