Talking To Your Applets

To allow your applets to operate in different environments, it’s quite handy to be able to pass certain parameters to them at runtime. When embedding an applet in a HTML page, you can use the PARAM tag (as part of an APPLET) for this purpose. For example:

You can then retrieve the values within your applet like this:
