The homepage of Dennis Ritchie, the creator of C and a coauthor of the legendary The C Programming Language, is probably the best virtual museum of the C programming language. You can find it here at http://cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/who/dmr/. The site presents interesting historical documents, pictures, and memos from the early days the C programming language. Amazingly enough, the original source code files of the primeval C compiler, dating back from 1972 or so are available online!
