Tables in a session

Question:
When I open a session to my Oracle database, I can only see tables that are owned by my user name. How can I get to see other public tables?

Answer:
You should be able to see any table that is owned by your username and any table that has a public synonym declared for it, just as you would in other Oracle products. Unfortunately, there is a bug in version 1.X of Power Objects that prevents you from seeing tables with public synonyms. The bug is scheduled to be fixed very soon.
