Finding the Namespace for a .NET Class in Visual Studio

The following four steps outline a shortcut to finding the namespace for a .NET class.

  1. Type the name of the class in the CodeWindow.
  2. Place the cursor in this name.
  3. Press Alt+Shift+F12.
  4. A window will open and show the appropriate namespaces for the class.

This is only applicable in VS 2005/VS 2003 IDE.
