Palm is pleased to offer a new technical resource to all developers. The Palm Virtual Developer Lab (VDL) is an online service giving you access to Palm OS and Palm Windows Mobile smartphones. Using your own development environment, you can access real devices to test your solution. Through the VDL, devices are fully wired making your desktop/laptop screen display and operate as if a physical device were in your hand. Each device is activated with live worldwide networks (voice and data) so full testing can be done over the Internet. You now have access to all the devices you need 24x7 to securely upload and test your application. You can even reserve a device so it is available when you know you’ll need it. You can record a sequential set of frames as a movie and send to colleagues to collaborate on any development issues you are having.
