Google Cloud customers with users in or near Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, London, Paris, Stockholm and several others cities could soon see a performance boost from the cloud computing service. That’s because Google has added load-balancing technology in those areas that should help reduce network latency.

It has added more Carrier Interconnect partners, which provide secure connections between the Google Cloud and enterprise data centers. In addition, it released a beta version of Google Compute Engine virtual private network service.
