Jump to a URL From a Select Box Without Clicking a Submit Button

The code below gets the SELECT OPTION that the user has selected (from the SELECT element's selectedIndex property) and uses that value to determine the correct branch in a case statement. Depending on the OPTION selected, the user is automatically taken to the URL for that OPTION.
