Formatting Tables in HTML Pages

The best way to tackle alignment/wrapping issues with invisible tables is to make the tables visible. To do this, you should set the border property of tables that contain form fields or other display data to a value greater than 0. Once all visible issues are sorted out, you can make the tables invisible again. This way any issues with colspan or rowspan of table elements can be solved instantly.
