INP/OUT Replacement

Question:
I've got to control 3 stepper motors from the printer port. How can I activate pins on the printer port using Visual basic. For Example I want to activate pin number 1, and 2. In Qbasic you say (OUT 888,3), what is the equivelant in Visual Basic?

Answer:
If you take a look at my File Archives page, there is a file there called INPOUT.ZIP. That will provide you the INP/OUT functionality from QBasic. For VB4.0 you can go to the Microsoft Web site and then to their Knowledge Base page. Look for the article: Q154819 How To Access PC Bus Devices in Visual Basic for Windows
