SQL Server Errors

Question:
When rebuiling indexes I receive an error.

Error 1501:[SQL Server] Sort Failure

What is happening, and what do I need to do to fix this problem?

Answer:
I was unable to find specific documentation on that error. However, with similiar errors (see article Q140265 in the Microsoft knowledge base), Microsoft recommends bumping up the sort pages parameter in the configuration from 64 to 128. It seems that the under some conditions the server can run out of memory that it uses for sorts. So bumping up the setting that allocates memory for this option could solve the problem.
